HELIOS Tech., a.s. was established in 2008 on the basis of growing demand on electricity generated from renewable resources. Photovoltaic technologies are worldwide very fast growing, every year the installed capacity is more than doubled. Worldwide revenue value in 2002 was around 3.5 billion USD and is expected to grow to 27.4 billion USD by 2012. Currently total electricity generated from renewable resources in the Czech Republic is about 7% and Czech Republic, as a member of EU, is aiming to generate 20% of the total electricity from renewable resources.

The sun is the main energetic source for our planet, its energy is unfortunately not enough utilized, therefore we see high potential in building up photovoltaic power stations.

We were thinking of fasciliating and making more accessible projects of PV power station constructions. The new structural system HELIOS Tech for PV panels is the result of more than one year effort. This structural system from the composite material was designated especially for the construction of PV power stations.

Material used fulfils requirements of current world trend, it is to be environmentally-friendly. Thanks to advantages of structural system HELIOS Tech. we reduce the risks resulting from ecological burdens connected with the implementation of photovoltaic power stations made with structural system of traditional materials.
